00General
LBMtech is the brand of LBM Technologies Limited, a company registered in England. It brings together the services we used to offer as Lifeboat Marketing, OnboardWeb, OnboardFred and OnboardMail (website design and hosting, email template design and managed email campaigns), along with our new SaaS project builds.
Those websites are being replaced by LBMtech, but the company behind them, LBM Technologies Limited, is the same. If you have a question about an existing service, email us.
Email us with a short description of what you need and we’ll send you a no-obligation quotation.
Nestaviz® is a fluid responsive email designer operated under licence by LBM Technologies Limited. We use Nestaviz to build the email templates and campaigns we create for our clients. You can find out more at nestaviz.com.
01Websites & Hosting
No. Website design and hosting are supplied together as one service: we design, build and host your website with us. We don’t offer hosting on its own, or design for websites that are hosted elsewhere.
We build all our websites on WordPress with UX Builder, which gives us plenty of freedom with your design. If you sell products online, we use WooCommerce. It’s very adaptable and has hundreds of plugins if you need extra features.
Yes. Once your website is live you have full access, and you can update it as often as you like. If you’d rather not, or you get stuck, we can help whenever you need us.
- Bespoke responsive website design
- Website & DNS protection from cyber attacks and spoofing
- eCommerce features to sell products or services online
- SEO ready pages
- Access to interactive website analytics
- Website management access
- Full access to your own hosting account and mailboxes
- Support through our ticket system, 24/7/365
Your quotation confirms exactly what’s included for your project.
Yes. Get in touch to talk about a new website, designed, built and hosted by us, and we’ll send you a no-obligation quotation.
02Email Templates
We accept PSD, EPS, AI, PDF, PNG, JPG, GIF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, email, ZIP or RAR files. All text needs to be supplied in an editable file type (not as an image).
That’s fine. Send us a link to your website and we’ll design a template to match it. If you don’t have a website, send us a few examples of email designs you like.
Depending on how complex it is, your template will be ready within 2 to 7 working days of us receiving cleared payment and all your branding and design files.
We build your template in Nestaviz and make it available in your own Nestaviz account, where you can amend, clone and reuse it. From Nestaviz you can export your design as a ZIP file that includes:
- The HTML version of your email
- The plain-text version of your email
- All image assets used in the email
Use of your Nestaviz account is governed by the Nestaviz Terms & Conditions.
Yes. Our fluid responsive templates work with 130+ ESPs, CRMs and HTML editors, from enterprise platforms to DIY services. We check them in 60+ desktop, webmail and mobile email clients and add fallbacks where a client needs them.
Fonts that are not email-safe are automatically replaced with a standard email-safe fallback font, so your email still displays correctly if your chosen font can’t be shown. Some email clients don’t display custom fonts at all.
If the email looks different from the preview you approved, the HTML has probably been changed after leaving Nestaviz, for example by importing it into your provider’s WYSIWYG editor. To avoid this, create a new custom template in your provider and paste or upload the original HTML without editing it.
Please email us and tell us what’s wrong. We’ll make the changes needed so your template matches the brief we agreed.
If we haven’t started work on your email template, you can cancel and get a full refund. See Cancellations & Refunds in our Terms & Conditions.
03Email Campaigns
We build your template in Nestaviz, set up your campaign and import your data. The service includes:
- A managed, authenticated and signed sending sub-domain (SPF, DKIM, DMARC and BIMI)
- Contact list checks and import, with custom data fields and group filters if required
- A custom-built responsive email design
- Spam filter and email client checks before each send
- Campaign previews for your approval
- Scheduled deployment at a time you specify
- Campaign reporting
- Automatic one-click unsubscribe and bounce handling
- A subscriber sign-up form for your website
- Your business branding guidelines and creative brief
- Your current contact lists in an Excel spreadsheet, plus any custom data fields or group filters you need
- Your campaign content and imagery in a Word document, whenever a campaign is due
- Your approval of each campaign preview, or any amendments you require
Yes. You must have a lawful basis (usually consent) to send marketing emails to every contact you supply, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and the UK GDPR. We cannot send to purchased, rented or harvested lists. See Email Campaigns & Anti-Spam in our Terms & Conditions.
Each campaign is tracked and monitored for deliveries, opens, clicks, forwards, soft and hard bounces, and unsubscribes.
Managed email campaigns are £95 per month. Tell us what you need and we’ll send you a no-obligation quotation.
04SaaS Projects
A JavaScript or TypeScript frontend; Bunny CDN with its Web Application Firewall (WAF); Bunny Edge Scripting for middleware and server-side logic; and a Turso database. It’s the same set-up we use to run Nestaviz.
Where it suits your product, Turso lets each customer have a database of their own. Nestaviz works this way, so one customer’s data never mixes with another’s.
Every SaaS project is scoped and quoted individually. Your quotation sets out what we’ll deliver, the fees and who owns the work. See SaaS Project Builds in our Terms & Conditions.
05Billing
Our payment provider Stripe accepts debit and credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard and Maestro, as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link. We also accept direct bank transfers to Revolut. If you request an invoice, it will be sent to your email address and can be paid using any of these methods.
For one-off work such as email templates, full payment is due before work starts, unless we agree otherwise. Ongoing services, such as website hosting and managed campaigns, are billed in advance as a subscription. Your quotation confirms the payment terms for your project.
No. Card payments are processed directly by Stripe; we never store, view or collect your payment card details. See our Privacy Policy.
